Some folks check on the exhaust pipe color as a sign of a long rider.

The chrome blues under heat and time -

Not much to be concerned with - it will turn a golden color and then gradually shift with continued heat to blue.

A sure sign of someone who remembers to keep the rubber side down on long days in the saddle
